One of the main important things while protecting any windows systems besides having an antivirus, it is updating windows. Every month Microsoft releases new security patches for all their products that fixes security holes and increase the security of Windows.
Updating Windows Vista is quite simple than you think and it is something that I will recommend to do every month.
Please follow these steps to keep your system updated to the latest security patches.
* Click On “Start” button and then go to “Control Panel”
* Under the “Security” or "System and Maintenance" section or icon, click check for updates to your top left corner. Check Picture.

* If there are any updates after clicking, make sure you install all of them right away by clicking “Install Updates.”
* Restart computer after everything is done. You are finished.
Note: Make always sure you always keep your computer up to date.
