The iPad is Apple’s latest invention. And since it’s be Apple, it’s going to be hot and fly off of the shelves the second it is put into stores, which will be in the end of March. The iPad is said to be a whole new revolution. And once again, since it’s made by Apple, it probably will be.
When first looked at, the iPad appears to be just a giant iPod Touch. And to be honest, that’s exactly what it looks like. Even the home screen looks the same! But don’t be fooled – the iPad is much more. Most people know what a tablet is. For those that don’t, a tablet is a portable internet device, usually all touch screen. And tablets are nice and all - don’t get me wrong. But the iPad is something different. The iPad has Apple’s patented multi-touch technology, which makes the iPad even more unique.
The iPad has built in Wi-Fi, and built in 3G in some models. On top of that, it’s light, thin, and just sexy. The keyboard used in the iPad is almost life size, so it is easy to type on. There is also an external keyboard which will be available for purchase. This will allow the user to type and charge at the same time!
All iPhone and iPod Touch apps are compatible with the iPad. So once you get home with the iPad, just sync it was iTunes and you’re good to go!
Reading eBooks on the iPad is now even more of a luxury. With a built in book store, just like the app store and iTunes, readers can easily find their favorite books. The 9.7 inch display will not strain your eyes and allows you to relax in that nice recliner while reading your favorite novel.
A ten hour battery is essential for high definition video watching and photo viewing. Gaming is also a blast on the iPad, due to the larger than normal screen.
The iPad starts at 499 United States Dollars. That is for the 16 GB model, which is more than enough for most users. The iPad is going to be a great seller and will be very popular.
