How to Assign Different Templates in Joomla 1.5

One of the many things I like from Joomla is that you can apply several Templates to your same Website, and better yet this process is really easy to do. I have created this video to give a general explanation in how you can accomplish this.

In order for you to accomplish this tutorial, you should have installed Joomla 1.5 in your Hosting account or inside your Xamp or Wampserver.

Recovering the Joomla 1.5 Admin Password

So have you forgotten you Joomla 1.5 admin password? Well I have bad news for you, the thing about the admin password, is that you won’t be able to recover it. I know it seems scary, but what you can do is replace that unknown password for something that you will know. That is what you are going to be learning on this video tutorial.

 

Now on this video, I’m using a Linux server with a CPANEL utility, if there is a chance that you are using a Windows server, it is going to be different. Also some Linux servers don’t come with the CPANEL utility, so be aware of that. What you can do in that case is, you can contact your hosting company and ask them how to access your Database from the Joomla site that you forgot the password.
