Facebook is constantly growing, getting hundreds, if not thousands, of new members per day. On top of this, fun apps, games, fan pages, groups, and more are made each day to help keep the social network going. Updates are made every now and then to help make the site more efficient for the users, but will come up next in Facebook?

I got bored today while I was listening to people on CNN argue over financial reform. Granted this, is important legislation- but I can only listen to so many court proceedings about securities and derivatives without my brains starting to hurt. I was also a little frustrated because I was watching the news to hear about the harsh new Arizona Immigration Law, or SB1070. You know the one that basically makes racial profiling not only legal, but required? Yeah that one. I was also looking to hear about the new developments in the Middle East peace talks (or lack thereof). Anyway, I digress. 

Remember the days when Facebook was just starting out? When the very first of your hip, of the minute friends began to migrate over from Myspace? If you were anything like me then you may have sceptically created a Facebook account not really expecting it to go anywhere. If you were like some of my more stubborn friends, you may have clung to your myspace profile for dear life, not giving up until the very last one of your friends had almost completely moved their internet presence over. Maybe you were one of those hip friends who knew a good thing when you saw it. Regardless of your original stance on the social media giant, you most likely never guessed that it would become what it is today.

In this tutorial you will learn how to eliminate your Facebook account. Have in mind that we are NOT going to deactivate the account. The difference between deactivate and eliminate the account is that if you deactivate the account, Facebook will keep your information, and if you eliminate the account you will be erasing all information regarding your persona in Facebook.

So if you have decided to totally disappear from Facebook follow these steps.

Facebook seems not to be fan of websites that let users delete their social network profiles. Last week, I was reading about an application call Seppukoo, which lets you erase your Facebook account. What happen with them? They were banned by Facebook. Today, while browsing, I found another application called Web 2.0 Suicide Machine that it is suffering the same illness.
