Making your computer boot faster by changing the boot order on the BIOS setup.
Basically the boot order is the source from where your computer it's going to start first. In many cases when you buy a new computer in the store, it will boot from other drivers (CD/DVD, Floppy Disk, LAN, etc) instead of your hard drive. It will automatically check to see if you have a bootable CD in your Optical drive, or if your computer has a floppy drive, it will check to see if you have a boot disk in the floppy drive. Then once it has checked all possible options, the system will check your hard drive and load Windows.
So what's the benefit to change the boot order?
Well, if you modify the boot order where your first option is the hard drive, your computer will not waste time checking other possible options to boot.
Just by changing this order, you can save several seconds in the booting process.
To change the boot order on your computer please check the manual of your motherboard or visit the manufacturer's website for more information how to access the BIOS of your computer. You can also look the bottom of your screen when you turn your computer on, it will normally show you to press a specific keyboard key to access the SETUP or BIOS SETUP.
You can also see the video for a better understanding.
