Today, I'm going show you how to make Windows load a little bit faster using MSCONFIG program.
After you sign on your computer, the computer system finishes loading the software and then begins to load the Startup programs that you have installed manually and also some that you have not. Often when you bring home a new computer, it normally comes filled with extra software that you don't need. Some examples are utilities software, support software from the company, updating software, MSN messenger, Myspace IM, and toolbars, for some people this can very annoying and in fact it slows down your whole system Startup. With MSCONFIG you will be able to disable all the software you don't need while loading your computer, as a result getting your computer starting up a little bit faster.
To start MSCONFIG in Windows XP, click Start-->Run, type: msconfig
Then go to the tab Startup and uncheck all the programs you don't need. Please check the video below for more information how to use MSCONFIG in Windows XP.
