iPods: Chinese Knockoffs, the worst to the best

Some people in today's world (like me) don't have enough money to buy one of those awesome iPods out there. Sure, we dream and everything, but we don't have the money, or maybe the will, to go any buy an iPod. So instead of buying an official iPod, we go to a Chinese knock off version!

Chinese knock off versions vary greatly in quality and capacity, and of course price. Some people get them for twenty bucks, while some might end up spending up to one hundred for a good one.

Some of the cheapest ones have a plastic screen and are difficult to navigate around. They also break easily and crash often. They also rarely come with instructions and usually are purchased with eBay, which means slow shipping if it comes from Hong Kong, which it probably will.

Price increases with Quality, as different types of firmware are used and screens are built betterPrice increases with Quality, as different types of firmware are used and screens are built better. Casings are made with better materials, and capacities are increased. The navigation begins to look and feel and act more like a real iPod.

Chinese knock offs can get a person by, however they aren't nearly as great as a real iPod. Most knock offs can do video. They can usually do radio as well, unlike most iPods (although some are now coming with radio). It all depends on the person and what they want.
