To most people, the iPod battery for any model could be better. They may want t watch a few more hours of video or listen to twelve hours of more of music. There are quite a few ways to alternatively charge your iPod. We will look over the most popular.
-USB-
A very common way of charging an iPod is through a USB port. However, what many people do not know is that it doesn’t have to be a USB port on a computer. That’s right. Any powered USB port on any object can be used. The USB ports on a Playstation or Xbox would work. So would the USB ports on a cable box. All you have to do is plug the charger cable into the powered USB port.
-Wall Charger-
If you are without a Powered USB port, there are special wall chargers that you can purchase. These simply plug into a wall and supply a USB port. Basically, this is another powered USB port. It’s like a portable USB port if you really think about it. These can really help people if they are in a hotel room.
-External Batteries-
There are special external batteries and power packs that you can buy for iPods. These external life savers can give anywhere from an extra hour of battery life to twelve hours. This also depends on the usage of the iPod when using the external battery. The external batteries simply plug into your iPod like a normal charger would, and then it begins to charge or hold the iPod’s power. Normally, the external battery packs don’t charge; they just keep the iPod on. However, some external battery packs can charge your iPod.
As you can easily see, if you find yourself without a computer, you aren’t destined to be overwhelmed with boredom. There is hope, and all you need to do it buy the right equipment. The equipment isn’t too expensive. The price just depends on the brand and the overall quality.
