DISCLAIMER: THESE ARE ALL RUMORS - THEY HAVE NOT YET BEEN CONFIRMED BY APPLE
What's next for the iPod Touch? Everyone's waiting for the fourth generation to come out, and more importantly, everyone wants to know what's going to be in it! There are many rumors out there, and here they all are, compacted into one neat article - Let's take a look...
A Camera? - One rumor that's been flashing across the web is that the iPod Touch is going to have camera, much like the iPod Nano. It is unknown, however, if the iPod Touch will have movie taking capabilities, picture taking a capabilites, or both. Either way, however, it will be a very nice addition to the already sexy Apple device. Cameras are almost everything in today’s world. Oh wow, look at that flying pig! Now, if the iPod Touch had a camera, then that lucky person could take a picture. Hopefully, if Apple does get a camera installed on the iPod Touch, it will be more than just a two megapixel camera. Don’t get me wrong, that’s nice for a phone, but if Apple could stretch that to a four or a five, the 2010 version of the iPod Touch would fly off of the shelves even faster.
An even bigger size? - Quite a few people are even anticipating a 128 GB model of the iPod Touch. I, myself, do not think that this is going to happen. I can't think of one person that even gets close to filling up 64 gigabytes! Nevertheless, if it does happen, it will be extremely cool, and most likely extremely expensive.
And once again, longer battery life – Six hours just isn’t enough for battery life on the iPod Touch, when we see the iPad getting ten hours or more! Sure, the iPad has a bigger battery, but it’s also a bigger device. If Apple could only make a battery that would last even eight hours or more, or, now stay with me, twelve hours on video.
Now of course with all these updates and upgrades and what not, the price is bound the get higher too. However, I’d be more than willing to pay a slightly higher price for this awesome machine.
