We all know a new iPhone is coming out. So, f course, with a new iPhone coming out, there has to be new software! Introducing... iPhone OS 4.0! What will this bring to the technological age? I guess you'll have to read on to find out!
1. Multitasking - Finally! Apple has listened to consumers and thankfully, Multitasking will be included in iPhone OS 4.0. This means that the user can listen to Pandora Radio while playing Doodle Jump, or pausing Inotia easily to write a quick Note. This will make actions on the iPhone much easier.
2. Folders - No longer will consumers have to decide between certain apps. No longer will seven pages be the limit for apps. Now Folders are being introduced. So instead of having a limited number of only 180 apps, the maximum number of apps will be increased to much more. More than 500. More than 1000. More than 2000! Yes, that's right. iPhone OS 4.0 will allow users to have a maximum of 2160 apps on their device. That's only a LITTLE bit more than the previous 180.
3. iAd - iAd is somewhat like Google Adwords, allowing users to gain revenue by putting ads on their site. This can allow consumers to make money on the go!
There is so much more to iPhone OS 4.0. Most users will have to wait for the upgrade to fully see what it will have.
What's it compatible with? iPhone OS 4.0 will go on the following devices: iPod Touch second generation, iPod Touch third generation, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3GS.
