Ibogaine is an alkaloid taken from the Iboga plant. Iboga is a perennial rainforest shrub which is an original plant of western-central Africa. Canada has built lots of clinics around these plants, so do Mexico, parts of Europe and other countries. But United States is the only country that bans this Iboga plant. According to US drug laws, ibogaine is listed as a Schedule 1 substance, meaning the drug is considered to have high potential of abuse and no medicinal value. Ibogaine is considered the same villains as heroin, LSD and cannabis.
Although some former victims to heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, alcohol and nicotine testified that Ibogaine has totally cured them, United States still ignores it and considers it as illegal plant. American Senates and DEA Stonewall have been ignoring all the ibogaine-approval calls, demands and requests. What’s wrong with you guys?
Actually, Ibogaine isn’t a new-found plant. A junkie, Howard Lotsof, has accidentally found it 50 years ago. It was in the 1960s when the 19-year-old Howard found this plant and cured totally from his addiction to heroin. He later introduced Ibogaine to 19 individuals, seven claimed to be total clean and others noted the apparent effects. But Lotsof died in the early 2010 and his project was closed by US government.
If you are wondering how this Ibogaine works, it is actually like an ‘on-off’ button or a mender. It turns off (seals) the receptors in the brain which are formerly switched on by the abusive drugs. In the case of nicotine, nicotine usually makes little dents in the surface of your brain which can only be filled in by more nicotine, but Ibogaine can mend it perfectly.
Though Ibogaine is a magic drug, nobody will like to take it twice. Frankly it is not as fun as having the heroin and friends. Having Ibogaine is a rough experience. First you will loose your mind for about 10 hours, after that you will enter a clear state where you’ll feel very energetic. This clear state is where the addicts loose all their addiction. The good feeling of Ibogaine will last 4 to 12 weeks. Four to twelve weeks are for the addicts to avoid the abusive drugs and get totally clean.
